Digital Heritage & Restoration

This service is the heart of Lenslayout: the point where cutting-edge technology and respect for the past meet. We don't just manage files, we save memories from decay.

Why choose professional restoration?

  • Authenticity first: We are not a one-click mobile app that unnaturally transforms faces or moves grandma around like a “puppet.” We enhance and restore photos to preserve their original character and authenticity.
  • Preserving value for posterity: Paper photos fade and tear, and digital files are easily lost in the clutter. We help ensure that your family history remains digitally eternal and accessible to anyone.
  • Expertise and AI combined: We use cutting-edge artificial intelligence to restore detail, but we also refine each image with manual retouching to ensure the result is natural and pin-sharp.

What are we doing?

  • High-level digitization: We convert your old paper photos into high-resolution, studio-quality digital files.
  • Professional restoration: We remove scratches, creases and stains. We revive faded colors and restore sharpness to blurry images – whether it's a paper photo or a low-quality digital photo.
  • Organization and Intelligent Archive: We help you organize and tag your private photo collection (metadata). We build a searchable system where you can find any important moment with a single click.
  • Tree planting – Visual family tree: Given the appropriate number of photos and family information, we build a spectacular digital family tree illustrated with images, which we embed on your website.

What are we not going to do?

  • Physical restoration: We do not physically repair the paper image (we do not glue or paint over the original photo), but we re-enchant the digitized version.
  • Historical research: The Client provides the data and description of family relationships necessary for building the family tree; we create the visual tree from the material provided.
  • Mass scanning: We are not an industrial rapid-scanning workshop. We focus on quality and individual repair, not quantity grinding.
